چکیده
Infrared thermography has been widely used to visualize skin temperature in human science. One of the important areas its application is analysis changes body surface as a result use physical medicine treatments post-exercise regeneration sports. The aim this study was evaluate cutaneous response selected and range chosen markers skeletal muscle damage partial cryostimulation (PBC) method post-match regeneration. Fourteen football players underwent PBC after match. Thermographic analyses anterior posterior surfaces were performed before immediately treatment. Before, directly after, 24, 48, 72 h match serum creatine kinase (CK), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) evaluated. After PBC, significant (p ≤ 0.001) decrease (Tsk) all analyzed occurred. greatest drop observed thighs (∆ = 9.96–11.02 °C); smallest occurred upper lower part back 6.18−6.70 °C) area chest 6.80 °C). most positive relationships between magnitude change Tsk thighs, fat, systolic diastolic blood pressure have shown. There no differences temperatures relation sides body, both PBC. confirms stimulating effect course concentration CK AST indicates potentially beneficial on post-workout regeneration, without side effects. Maintaining constant during comes at expense thermoregulatory mechanisms leading temperature.

Parasympathetic Activity and Blood Catecholamine Responses Following a Single Partial-Body Cryostimulation and a Whole-Body Cryostimulation
The aim of this study was to compare the effects of a single whole-body cryostimulation (WBC) and a partial-body cryostimulation (PBC) (i.e., not exposing the head to cold) on indices of parasympathetic activity and blood catecholamines. Two groups of 15 participants were assigned either to a 3-min WBC or PBC session, while 10 participants constituted a control group (CON) not receiving any cry...
متن کاملBody composition of rugby union football players.
The components of body composition were studied in 56 second class rugby union football players: 28 forwards and 28 backs. Fowards were found to have 19.5% TBF (TOTAL BODY FAT) and 80.5% LBM (LEAN BODY MASS); backs 12.2% TBF and 87.8% LBM. It was felt that greater attention should be given to the ratio of TBF to LBM in determining body weight and that there should be an increased emphasis of th...
متن کاملEvaluation of Changes in Nerve Conduction Velocity in the Lower Limbs of Football Players
Background & Aims: Lower limbs’ nerves are exposed to mechanical injuries in athletes (e.g. football players), because of the excessive physical demand of their job. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the influence of regular and intense sports, such as football, on nerves in the lower leg. This study was conducted during 2006 to 2007 in the Shiraz Rehabilitation Faculty, Univer...

An examination of the heights and weights of members of the Parade Magazine's High School All-American Football Teams from 1963-1971 indicates no significant changes in the Body Mass Index of these elite athletes whereas an increased pattern in Body Mass Index was noted within this group from 1972-1989. The large increases in Body Mass Index after 1971 among the All-American high school footbal...
متن کاملChanges in Body Temperature in Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury by Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging.
OBJECTIVE To investigate changes in the core temperature and body surface temperature in patients with incomplete spinal cord injuries (SCI). In incomplete SCI, the temperature change is difficult to see compared with complete spinal cord injuries. The goal of this study was to better understand thermal regulation in patients with incomplete SCI. METHODS Fifty-six SCI patients were enrolled, ...
